On August 30th (and don’t worry because I’ll definitely put something else more - kind of on this place to remind remind remind the needing of reminders) I get to go to the Push-Push Theater and tell a couple of some stories about stuff for “The Doug Dank Project.”

Man - after reading that - I realize why it has been awhile since I actually typed something out - instead of going the easy route and posting an “Ant” here and/or there. Who knows?! I certainly can’t figure it out - perhaps it is a signal that I need to lay off of the (Please help out and fill in whatever appropriate thing is appropriate here that I need to lay off of . . .) - Oh yeah - no kidding!

Point behind this whole thing being that if you can think of any stories that I did that I can’t remember - then let me know what they are. (Except for you Trixie . . . your money is on the way.)

Here is a label that I made awhile ago for a tasty tasty beer that “some friends of mine” made.

The reason that I am putting it up (the reason that it came to mind) is that I finally drank the bottle that was living in my fridge for the past while . . . and oh yes - it had some “watermellony goodness!”

I think that my cat (Peanut Lou) just tooted - which has really thrown me off . . . really really thrown me off . . .

Oh - and I am working on another one of these here labels - so I’ll put it up whenever it is all kinds of done - and done - and done.

So, who is this Natty Bumpercar anyway? While trying to keep as many plates spinning on little bendy sticks as he can, Natty Bumpercar is a guy who at least attempts to float the illusion that he is constantly doing a pretty serious amount of stuff. With the help of his trusty compatriots (Spot Elliot, Peanut Lou and Irving Brown Socks), he spends most of his days writing about, drawing about, painting about, computering about and generally abouting about all of the what for and the goings on in the tiny world (that is mostly just in his head) of Coffee Can Alley. While currently calling the Buena Vista Heights area of Decatur home base, more often he can be found driving back and forth and forth and back to one of the larger metropolises in our fair land. He manages to eat and keep a semblance of a roof over his head by doing freelance design under the name of Peanut Graphic. But as work can sometimes lean toward being a bit boring, Natty Bumpercar usually ends up wandering about the world in search of adventures that materialize in the form of sticky situations and amazingly awkward conversations . . . Hooray for adventures!

I made this silly little announcement type of thing about 2 (two) years ago when my little wife and I bought a house. It was our first house (hooray!) - and so I was super-duper excited about it (no seriously - super-super-duper-duper excited) . . .

Well today was the day that Miss Real Estate Agent (she is really nice and helpful) came by and checked the place out so that the house could be put on the market. So to mark the occasion . . . I figured that I would put this thing up so that you could take a gander at it . . .

Because what is good for the goose is - of course - always good for the gander . . .
