Bus Talk

Guy on the bus just tried to impress a girl by talking about how he is a writer.
When she asked what he had been working on - he said that he had his novel - which was a satire about Starbucks.
She said “Oh - that’s . . . ”
Then he interjected with a solid “Yeah . . . Well . . .”
A good time was had by all!

Well, he was riding the bus… so chances are he is actually a writer.

I think that my head was spinning the most over how he was writing a novel that was a satire about Starbucks . . . it must have been too cutting edge for me.
Oh - and his reaction to her reaction was also kind of fun.
Oh - oh - and it is a swanky express bus - even rich folk like me don’t mind riding on it . . . they give out hot towels and bon-bons!

Now that I’ve been totally honest with myself, I can see that all novels are really a satire about Starbucks.
